Decorate a bottle or Jar This week

Well my goodness how Retro are you lot! Some fantastic entries last week - we loved visiting your blogs to see what you came up with!
Now this week is another session sponsored by the fabulous Craft Barn. So please make sure you make a link to their website within your entry this week to qualify for the prize. Check them out here they are a brilliant place to shop and are offering a prize of £15 to spend with them for the lucky randomly picked winner this week.

So what do you have to do? We want you to decorate a bottle or jar this week. Making a card or tag to match is optional but it would be brilliant to see what you come up with both to decorate and also fill them.

Here's a little tutorial to inspire you and show you how easy it is to make great gifts on a budget

And here's Michelle's finished Shower Gel

Essentially Oils supplied the unperfumed shower base which is a natural shower gel without any of the nasty additives some bath products contain, but you can also use simple bath or shower gel and if you cant find that, an unperfumed shampoo is an excellent alternative. We've used Tangerine and Lime essential oils but there are lots of other essential oils which can be used but do look at the label as some can irritate the skin and don't increase the dose without checking the maximum number of drops per 100ml. If your not sure ask your essential oil retailer or give Essentially oils a call, they are very helpful and extremely knowledgable.

All the crafting products we've used are available from The Craft Barn, their amazing range made it easy to create these fantastic labels and if you fancy making more gifts in jars or bottles, they have some Melissa Frances - Frameworks stamps which a perfect for labels and they have xyron in stock to stick them perfectly!

Now the design team have been sooo creative this week - they are always of course but just wait until you see these brilliant projects. As always click on the persons name to travel straight to their blog to find out how they did it.
